Syllogisms Video Tutorial

Friends, Syllogisms / Logical Deductions play an important role in Competitive Exams. Now a days almost in every competitive exams (especially for Bank Exams) they are asking minimum Five questions from this area. The traditional method for solving syllogism problems is by drawing Venn Diagrams. But in exams you may not get enough time to sit and draw these Venn Diagrams. Sometimes the given premises might be so confusing that you will never be able to draw the diagram for it. So here is a video lesson on another shortcut method for finding solutions to Syllogism problems. We hope this video lecture will helpful for you. We are presently working on some more examples of this technique. We will upload them soon.

    Conclusions:
    1. All the pencils are inks.
    2. Some inks are pencils.
    A. Only (2) conclusion follows
    B. Only (1) conclusion follows
    C. Either (1) or (2) follows
    D. Both (1) and (2) follow
    E. Neither (1) nor (2) follows
    Ans: D
    Need explanation for this since how the conclusion also true.



    26. Statements: Some papers are pens. All the pencils are pens.
    Conclusions:
    1. Some pens are pencils.
    2. Some pens are papers.
    A. Only (1) conclusion follows
    B. Only (2) conclusion follows
    C. Both (1) and (2) follow
    D. Either (1) or (2) follows
    E. Neither (1) nor (2) follows
    Ans: C
    Explanation:need explanation in this since middle term is coming in conclusion tat too they are accepting.. very very diffcult to understand this reply me soon since next week interview for me,
