There are 26 world records being broken in various events in 2012 London Olympics. Here is the event wise List

Archery
Im Dong Hyun of Korea set a new world record score of 699 during the Archery men's individual ranking round.

South Korean team of Im Dong-hyun , Kim Bub-min and Oh Jin-hyek set a new 216-arrow world record in the ranking round.
Note : Im Dong-hyun is a partially blind person and He set the First world Record in London Olympics 2012.

Athletics
David Lekuta Rudisha of Kenya set a new world record in the Men's 800m at the London Olympics with a time of 1:40.91.

Cycling 
Gong Jinjie and Guo Shuang of China set world record women's Team Sprint Track Cycling with a time of 32.422 seconds. They broke their own 32.447 seconds record they posted in the qualification round.

Britain's 3000m team comprised of Dani King, Laura Trott and Joanna Rowsell set a new world record time of 3:14.051.

British team of Sir Chris Hoy, Philip Hindes and Jason Kenny set a new world record in the Team Sprint. They completed their three-lap in 42.600 seconds, beating their own record of 42.747.

Daniel Gyurta of Hungary set a new world record with a time of 2:07.28 in 200 metre breaststroke.

Sun Yang of China set a world record in the men's 1,500 metres freestyle at the London Olympics with a time of 14:31.02.

Rebecca Soni of the United States set a new world record in the women's 200m Breaststroke with a time of 2:19.59 seconds.

Missy Franklin of United States broke world record set by Zimbabwe's Kirsty Coventry in women's 200-meter backstroke with a time of 2:04.06.

The American team of Missy Franklin, Rebecca Soni, Dana Vollmer and Allison Schmitt won Olympic gold in women's 4x100m medley relay with a world record time of 3: 52.05, bettering the previous record of 3:52.19 set by China.

Britain's cycling team comprised of Edward Clancy, Geraint Thomas, Steven Burke and Peter Kennaugh set a world record in 4000m team pursuit with a time of 3:51.659.

Rowing
New Zealand's Hamish Bond and Eric Murray set a new men's pairs rowing world record The multiple world champions timed 6min 8.50sec on the first day of competition, almost six seconds quicker than the 10-year-old record set at the 2002 world championships.

Shooting
Alexei Klimov of Russia set a world record in the men's 25-meter rapid fire pistol with 592 points.

Swimming
Dana Vollmer of the United States won gold in the women's 100m Butterfly at the London Olympics. She set a new world record time of 55.98 seconds in the event.

Ye Shiwen of China broke the world record held by Stephanie Rice in the women's 400m Individual Medley by clocking 4:28.43.

Cameron van der Burgh of South Africa won gold in the men's 100m Breastsroke at the London Olympics. He set a new world record time of 58.46 seconds.

Jessica Rossi of Italy set a world record in the women's trap with a score of 99 out of 100 shots at the London Olympics.

Weightlifting
Zulfiya Chinshanlo of Kazakhstan set a new world record in the women's 53kg weightlifting in the clean and jerk by lifting 131 kg.

Kim Un Guk of Democratic People's Republic of Korea set a world record in the Men's 62kg category with a total of 327 kg. He also tied the World Record in the snatch with 153 kg.

Ilya Ilyin of Kazakhstan sets a new world record in the Men's 94kg weightlifting by lifting 233 kilograms in the clean and jerk. His total of 418 kilograms from the snatch and clean and jerk was also a world record.

Zhou Lulu, weightlifter from China, created a new world record in the women's +75 kg category at the the 2012 Summer Olympics by lifting a total of 333 kg. She broke her own world record of 328 kg in the snatch, and clean and jerk.

Tatiana Kashirina of Russia set a new world record in the 75kg snatch by lifting 151kg.

Xiaojun Lu of China set a new world record by scoring a total 379 in the Men's 77kg weightlifting.

Elena Lashmanova of Russia set a world record in the women's 20 kilometres walk at the London Olympics with a time of 1:25:02. She surpassed Vera Sokolova's record by six seconds.

4x100m Relay - Women
U.S. team comprised of Carmelita Jeter, Bianca Knight, Allyson Felix and Tianna Madison broke the world record held for 3 decades by East Germany with a time of 40.82 seconds.

4x100m Relay - Men
Jamaican 4x100m relay team comprised of Usain Bolt, Nesta Carter, Michael Frater and Yohan Blake broke the world record with a time of 36.84 seconds.
